Design of Control System for Multistage Distillation Seawater Desalination Device Driven by Photovoltaic-Thermal

This research proposes a seawater desalination system driven by photovoltaic and solar thermal energy for remote regions such as islands seaside villages where fresh water is not accessible. The performance of this demonstrated through experiments, the main concerns are output power generation system, quantity, yield, loads under different irradiance temperature. In PLC used controller to adjust pump collection processing sensor data. A load switching time designed select operating schemes environments in order save energy. control method developed ensure that does undervoltage while maintaining normal operation system. An improved Perturbation Observation (P&O) algorithm also proposed new Maximum Point Power Tracking (MPPT) solve problem misjudgment oscillation after tracking maximum point (MPP) traditional P&O algorithm. simulation test MATLAB/Simulink environment shows when external changes, can track MPP faster than algorithm, amplitude on smaller. hardware experiments show operate stably flexibly, it capable producing 5.18 kWh electric 335.81 kg freshwater per day. yield unit reach 565.75 day daily 8.12 kWh.
